Muswell Rose August 2026 · internal notes, for when we build his site

Working notes for whenever we build Peter's own site, Arkai-Optrix (with Agile Risk Consulting as the separate consulting side on it). Nothing here is built yet, just what's different because he's a sole trader rather than a company, so it's not lost by the time we get to it.

Professional indemnity insurance

Without a company's limited-liability shield behind him, PI insurance is the real protection, and it's also the trust signal procurement and compliance teams actually look for when vetting a sole-trader interim FD, more so than they would for an incorporated firm. Worth putting a plain "insured to £X" line on the site if he holds cover. Need to ask him: does he hold cover, and to what level.

Data protection / ICO registration

Probably not needed, but worth a two-minute check. Most interim FD and advisory work sits above the line that triggers this (reviewing management accounts, board papers, cash flow) rather than below it (directly running payroll or holding staff personal records). If he only ever advises and never personally processes client personal data, he likely doesn't need his own ICO registration. If any engagement has him hands-on with payroll or HR-adjacent data, he would. Cheap to settle either way: the ICO's own self-assessment tool at ico.org.uk takes a couple of minutes, and it closes off a small compliance gap rather than leaving it as an assumption.

Where his profile actually lives

Once Arkai-Optrix is real, Peter's profile shouldn't only sit on our side. The `/profile` mockup here is a preview of the content, not its final home. Once Arkai-Optrix exists, that becomes one of at least two places Peter's profile actually lives, reciprocally linked, not a copy sitting only with us.

Internal working note, not for sending. Revisit once his own-site build is actually scheduled.
